Hi, my name is Dana Ulama, I am a female half german – half Syrian, born in Germany


Studied fashion design for 2 years, dropped out and studies graphic design for 3 years, I now work as and Illustrator/ graphic designer in Berlin

Your specialization?

Illustration, vector art, drawing.

What is your inspiration? Where do you go for inspiration?

I get a lot of inspiration from pop culture/movies. My own inner conflicts are also a great inspiration. And from the internet, fashion and style trends, Tattoo trends, I also check out magazines like Novum every once in a while, and also from things I see around the city (Berlin) like posters or murals.

Who inspires you?

Various traditional and digital artists like Tristan Eaton, MC Escher, HR Giger, Todd Slater and so many more.

What do you like about your work?

The combination of the colors.

What do you find the most challenging?

Giving my protagonists the right facial expression is challenging, and creating an overall mood.
